Productfi is a content production budget management solution developed by hiblocks (하이블럭스). This project was created in collaboration with Netflix Seoul as the partner providing domain expertise for content production workflows. Young Kim participated in this project during his tenure as hiblocks CEO & Co-Founder.

Project Background

In January 2023, hiblocks announced a development agreement with Netflix Seoul to build a production budget management platform for Korean content production. The collaboration aimed to address the complex financial workflows involved in media production.

Problem Statement

Content production involves fragmented workflows across multiple tools:

  • Budget documents scattered across spreadsheets
  • Communication split between email, chat, and meetings
  • Manual reconciliation between production teams and investors
  • Lack of real-time budget visibility
